Cali Benedict
The best eggs Benedict I ever tried! I came a few weeks for the 1st time and got the Oscar style Benedict (crab / asparagus ) and THAT WAS AMAZING! This morning - my husband and I went to MJ's and the wait was 45m- I convince him to take the drive to Monica's and told him he wouldn't regret it. I ordered the classic Benedict and he ordered the Cali Benedict. AGAIN- both were delicious. To top this meal off we ordered the French toast which is "out of this world", it's made from French bread I think. NEEDLESS to say the drive was worth every second.---no regrets! The ambience is beautiful. The view of the water is great Service was outstanding and the food is fabulous. What more can you want?? Definitely coming back here..
Loaded Hash Browns
It was really good. I thought it was going to be a little bigger but the size was actually okay. I wanted to try something "big ass" but the loaded hash kept Catching my eye. Worth the try
Big A$$ French Toast
I've had a few items from here and never disappointed, but the french toast is one of my favs hands down!

Big Ass French Toast is the bomb and I have had it twice and it has not disappointed yet. The thick-cut bacon is amazing as well.
Western Burger
Very good compliments to the chef i asked for well done was perfectly cooked inside and out came with sweet potato fires came out nicely cooked perfect temperature 2 time coming back to the restaurant.
Huevos Rancheros
Every time I go for breakfast I ask for this plate, it's so good and fulfilling! I tell everyone to try it if they haven't.
Chilaquiles
I always look forward to Chilaquiles breakfast at Monica's Riverview & Livermore locations. Recently tried the chile relleno & was to die for, so will have to alternate each go. Well worth a visit to either location for fabulous atmosphere & view, great food in a lively environment. They have new add ons @ Riverview, so don't miss.
Abe's Cali Benedict
This Benedict had bacon and veggies and avocado. It was presented beautifully on a croissant and just the right amount of yummy hollandaise sauce. The accompanying country potatoes were perfection. Servings are huge - definitely enough for 2 meals. The attentive service and beautiful view of the Delta made everything even better! This was my first time at Monica's and I'm sure I'll be back again and again!!
Surf & Turf Rancheros
Delicious plate. Flavors and portions were great! This was my first time there. Definitely will be coming back again.
Breakfast Burrito
I was in my way home (Bakersfield) on a long train ride! I usually stop for a chicken salad sandwich with fries coming to Concord...first time for breakfast!
